Celebrating Lavender..There will be Cookies!

I love Lavender. The smell is so calming. In the hot summer months here in Oklahoma, afternoon tea is occasionally an Iced variety. This is a good one if you like to experiment.

Vegan, Gluten free

  • 3 tbsp Lavender, dried
  • 1 Lemon

  • 1/4 cup Agave nectar
  • 2 cups Lemon juice, freshly squeezed

Baking & Spices

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 6 cups Water

Interesting different lemonade recipes! Lavender lemonade sounds like a must try!:

We have a few Lavender farms here and it’s worth going just for the smell!  I grow my own lavender and other herbs so it’s easy to just grab some and go!

It goes really well with some shortbread cookies!

I first tried Lavender shortbread cookies in Perth, Western Australia. Never knew it was edible as always enjoyed using lavender in soaps, potpurri, oils and air freshners. Now it is the rage and it tastes awesomely good☺

I love lavender in so many things including ice cream. Loved it in lemonade and cookies. I’ll walk by my plants and grab a few pieces just to feel better. I’d like to use it more in cooking. Looks like a great recipe here.
